Sarah Hooke has been with Herndon United Methodist Church for eight years. As a professional musician and organist, Sarah combines study from prominent international organists and personal service experience to create a musical climate conducive for worship.
Sarah received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her masters degree from the University of Illinois. Extensive additional work has been taken at the University of Virginia and the University of Maryland.
Sunday mornings find Sarah at the organ console. The new (Easter 2000) three manual Ahlborn-Galanti Organ, including an antiphonal Choir and Swell Division, has been a welcomed additional worship aid for the Sunday worship services.
