VIM Golf Tournament 2010 to be held on September 27, 2010 at

Herndon Centennial Golf Course, 909 Ferndale Ave., Herndon, VA 20170

Herndon United Methodist Church is having our Fourth Annual Golf Tournament on September 27, 2010 to benefit our “Volunteers in Mission” (VIM) program. Our mission and outreach is growing and we need your help! We invite you to join us as a sponsor for this event. By being a sponsor, you will be providing much needed support to disaster victims, those in need, and the elderly throughout the world.

In the past few years, Herndon UMC has sent over 100 members of VIM teams to Alaska, Costa Rica, Florida, Louisiana, Virginia, Brazil, Guatemala, and Haiti – just to name a few. In order to keep our mission teams growing, we need your support. The need for disaster recovery and assistance around the world has never been greater. By helping to sponsor our Golf Tournament, you are really helping our resources stretch that much further. Contributions to Herndon UMC are fully tax-deductible. Below is a detailed list of the different sponsor opportunities we are offering. We are also looking for any items that could be used for our silent auction or door prizes. Books, baskets, gift certificates, restaurant certificates, golf passes, and overnight stays are the type of items that we are looking for. FULL OF HOPE CONTEST SPONSOR ($500)

There will be a Longest Drive contest and a Closest to the Pin contest. Your company name will be displayed at the tee.

Opportunity to set-up table/tent advertising your business.

MISSION MINGLING IN THE PRACTICE AREA SPONSOR ($250)

Meet and greet our participants at your own display as they practice and get ready for the tournament.

Your company name will be displayed.

PHOTO SPONSOR ($250)

Your business name will be prominently displayed in every photo taken of the golf foursomes.

"HOLY’" HOLE SPONSOR ($150)

Your company name will be displayed on the tee.
